Overview

Maintain and repair industrial PVC pipe production equipment

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Installing and assembling new machines and equipment -Following industry best practices, SOP's, LOTO procedures, and other safety guidelines -logging performed maintenance work through either paper documentation or a CMMS -Using power tools and different hand tools to complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders -Installing replacement parts such as vacuum pumps, hydraulic pumps, and hydraulic hoses -Maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery

What You Bring

-Minimum high school diploma or equivalent -Experience with Theason Extruders preferred -Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, air and fluid valves, solenoids, motors, starters, breakers, pumps, material flow, limit switches, welding, and torches is a plus -Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing machine failures -Experience with Cincinnati Milacron machines preferred -Knowledge of plastics extrusion processing is a plus -At least one year of industrial maintenance experience preferred -Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members -Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to diagnose and fix problems -Proven work experience with electrical and mechanical components -Strong mechanical aptitude -Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. periodically throughout the day
