Tasks

-Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, project management, and operations teams to validate system performance and troubleshoot issues -Lead the technical design and execution of energy storage projects, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and market strategies -Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project outcomes and identifying opportunities for enhanced reliability and value creation -Apply expertise in front-of-the-meter, behind-the-meter, and critical infrastructure storage applications to optimize system design and market participation -Serve as the primary technical liaison with contractors, vendors, and clients to communicate project status and resolve technical challenges -Develop and oversee comprehensive system integration plans, including EMS implementation and commissioning activities

What You Bring

-Proven ability to lead technical aspects of system design, integration, commissioning, and performance validation -Bachelor's degree or higher (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering) -Strong understanding of energy markets and participation models for front-of-the-meter and behind-the-meter storage applications -Familiarity with regulatory requirements and interconnection standards in U.S. energy markets -Demonstrated operational experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects in the U.S. energy market -Experience in Energy Management System (EMS) implementation and controls for large-scale battery projects -Advanced certifications or training related to energy storage technologies or grid integration -Experience with critical infrastructure storage projects and resilience-focused applications -Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams and driving projects from conception through commissioning -Background in software tools and platforms used for storage system modeling and performance analysis -Travel is approximately 25%, with more as needed
