Tasks

-Supporting the development of designs, planning and costing -Produce method statements and risk assessments to be approved by supervising engineers / managers and ensure that site operations take place in accordance with documents which detail safe systems of work, e.g. method statements, task sheets and procedures. -Drafting scopes under NRSWA for the mitigation, which include coordination of subcontractors and agreeing the works. -Coordination of site and construction works, in regard to logistic and programme planning. -Assist site foremen and managers in supervising site operatives and sub-contractors ensuring that the works are constructed in accordance with design drawings, specifications and standards as defined by the contract documents. -Provide accurate dimensional control, and check that established by others, to enable the works to be constructed to the required tolerances as defined by the Contract / design documents. Carry out surveys for design, as-built and payment purposes.
