Tasks
This is a senior-level opportunity to take full financial and commercial ownership of a portfolio of contracts. You'll play a key role in ensuring JCA delivers contracted and additional services cost-effectively, while maintaining compliance with legal and contractual obligations. In addition, you'll contribute to pre- and post-contract cost studies, support tender preparation, and manage subcontractor engagement from enquiry through to completion. You'll also oversee financial close-out of additional works and ensure all records and systems are maintained to company standards. As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll work closely with delivery teams to manage monthly valuations, forecasts, and variations, and ensure contracts are administered accurately and efficiently. Your role will also involve financial reporting, risk management, and identifying opportunities to increase revenue and margin. You'll be instrumental in maintaining strong client relationships and supporting contract retention and growth. -Support estimating and tendering processes with robust cost analysis. -Oversee supply chain and subcontractor engagement from enquiry to completion. -Ensure accurate reporting and financial close-out of additional works. -Manage contract performance, risk mitigation, and compliance. -Lead financial forecasting, valuations, and contract administration. -Maintain excellent client relationships and contribute to contract retention.

What You Bring
-Experience in SME environments and broad business understanding. -Proficiency in tools like SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Excel, Asta Powerproject. -Knowledge of statutory requirements and methods within the construction and engineering industry. -Valid UK driving licence. -HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or Engineering. -Analytical, and negotiation skills. -Strong leadership in line with JCA's brand image -MRICS accreditation and relevant CSCS card.
