Tasks

-Manage project risks and provide regular progress reporting to senior management and elected members -Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop project briefs and business cases -Act as “Client’s Representative” on professional services contracts and “Principal’s Representative” on NZS 3910:2023 construction contracts -Work with Healthy Waters’ operational and planning staff, other council departments and other members of the council family - Watercare Services, Auckland Transport and others - to achieve great outcomes for Auckland -Enhance council’s reputation by always behaving in a professional and collaborative manner -Procure and manage external suppliers and internal specialists for the design and construction of projects

What You Bring

-An industry-recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or Project Management Professional (PMP) -A bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering or environmental science -5+ years’ project management experience in delivering horizontal infrastructure projects -Experience in local government or other public-sector client bodies
