Architectural Internship – Summer 2026 (Multiple Locations)

Overview

Assist with architectural design, modeling, and documentation for life sciences/food projects.

Tasks

-Assisting with development of conceptual designs and coordinating with the design team under direction of the project team lead. -Developing project documents (e.g., calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications, etc.) for clients in coordination with regulatory bodies and industry standards. -Coordinating with other disciplines and other internal and external team members (e.g., vendors, clients, and contractors).

What You Bring

-Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program -Available to work full-time during the internship period (May–August 2026) -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) -Willingness to relocate or work in one of CRB’s internship locations, which may include: Kansas City (MO), Raleigh (NC), Orange County (CA), Philadelphia (PA), St. Louis (MO), Boston (MA), San Diego (CA), Kalamazoo (MI), Denver (CO), and/or Rockville (MD) -Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards within the AEC industry -Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines and with internal and external stakeholders (vendors, clients, contractors) -Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights -Eagerness to learn about the AEC industry and apply academic knowledge to real-world design and engineering challenges -Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit and 3D collaboration tools (Navisworks, BIM360 Suite, Assemble) -Prior internship or co-op experience in Architecture or related field
