Tasks

-Team Management: Guide and mentor project managers, superintendents, and field leaders to foster a high-performing, collaborative culture. -Strategic Partnerships: Build and strengthen relationships with general contractors and industry partners, positioning the company as a trusted collaborator. -Business Development: Identify opportunities for growth, cultivate repeat business, and expand relationships with general contractors managing large project portfolios. -Operational Oversight: Implement and refine best practices to increase efficiency, enhance project delivery, and uphold compliance with safety standards. -Estimating Support (Preferred): Contribute to project estimating and proposal development when required, ensuring competitive and accurate bids. -Reporting & Communication: Deliver professional, transparent updates to executive leadership and clients on project progress, risks, and solutions. -Project Leadership: Direct and manage a portfolio of large-scale commercial projects ranging from $500,000 to $10M, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget targets are consistently met. -Client Relations: Act as the primary contact for clients, overseeing negotiations, contracts, budgets, change orders, and schedule adjustments to maintain client confidence.

What You Bring

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present to executives and negotiate with clients. -Demonstrated success overseeing multiple large projects simultaneously ($500K–$10M range). -Minimum 10 years of experience as a Project Manager or higher in commercial construction. -Experience in project estimating and bid preparation. -Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with general contractors. -Familiarity with construction-specific regulations, safety practices, and project management tools (ComputerEase experience ideal). -Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities. -Ability to perform in high-pressure environments while maintaining client satisfaction. -Business development background with evidence of expanding client relationships and securing repeat work. -Licensed trade professional (electrical or related field) a plus.
