Part-time lab technician performing sample preparation, documentation, and lab maintenance.

Tasks

-Retrieves samples from Sample Control for analysis. -Stocks laboratory supplies. -Performs sample preparation which may include, but is not limited to, a combination of the following methods: -Resolves discrepancies and anomalies to ensure samples are properly labeled. -Prepares general laboratory paperwork such as recording analysis results, tracking samples, bench sheets, and laboratory logbooks. -Cleans work area(s) to maintain a safe working environment. -Prepare concentrations -Washes laboratory glassware to prepare for next day’s samples. -Prepare reagents -Assists other laboratory areas as needed.

What You Bring

-Must be available for overtime and weekends when required. -Aliquot samples -Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or equivalent preferred, but not required -Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship -High school Chemistry coursework, basic laboratory experience -Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 25lbs -high school diploma required -Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
