Overview

Maintain and repair heavy equipment & fleet vehicles in shop and field.

Tasks

-Perform preventative maintenance services and inspections per company schedule. -Operate diagnostic tools and test equipment to identify malfunctions. -Conduct field service calls for breakdowns or emergency repairs. -Maintain accurate service and repair records. -Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and gasoline-powered equipment and vehicles. -Perform component replacements, rebuilds, and adjustments (brakes, steering, transmission, etc.). -Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies. -Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

What You Bring

-High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred. -3+ years of diesel or heavy equipment mechanic experience (construction preferred). -Welding and fabrication skills a plus. -MSHA, OSHA, or similar safety training a plus. -Proficiency with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. -Valid driver’s license required; May require CDL or DOT Medical Card -Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform work that involves frequent standing, bending, and climbing.
