The Role

Overview

Oversee operation, maintenance, and efficiency of building automation systems.

Tasks

-Review assigned work orders. Estimate time, and resources, and order necessary materials to complete all repairs. -Inspect systems to ensure the operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves operational conditions prescribed by the client. -Maintain a total facilities systems management program which includes all the various connected and separate electrical, mechanical, life, and safety systems that are operational in a facility. -Participate in all related programs & activities as required. This includes incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment. -Perform assigned repairs and emergency and preventive maintenance. Complete maintenance and repair records as required. -Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning assistance as needed. -Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to system operations and work safety. -Oversee scope development, work request initiation, scheduling, and inspection of work performed by outside contractors, which includes proprietary work, licensed installations, upgrades, and maintenance and inspection of specialized systems. -Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. -Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams. -Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. -Report any conditions which you feel could result in an accident or injury and stop work if required. -Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. -Work within broad guidelines and policies.

What You Bring

-Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. -In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. -Complete all required and assigned training at a satisfactory level. -High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Licenses or certifications as may be required by local applicable law or ordinance. Prior shift leader or supervisory experience preferred. -Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. -Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. -Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
