Tasks

-Perform construction observation and administration on water and municipal related projects -Maintain project and company tracking information -Assist in preparation of technical reports -May be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to, flame resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear -Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist -Assist project managers in design and construction of pipelines, storage tanks, pump stations, treatment systems, rural water, and municipal facilities -Assist Project Manager with the development and preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates -Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight

What You Bring

-May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds -Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field -Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain -Strong written and oral communication skills -1-2 years of experience/internship on water, wastewater, or rural water projects -Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. -All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations -Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time -Fundamentals in Engineering certified or ability to obtain -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field -Ability to travel as required -May be required to travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town -AutoCAD or Civil 3D experience
