Tasks
-Must be able to work under the direction of the regional technical sales and application teams to prepare/configure devices and applications, quality assurance testing to validate application performance. -Assist regional team in executing customer demonstrations and pilots. -Interface with other developers, quality team, and product management members to improve overall customer experience. -Assess, inspect and trouble-shoot devices, prototypes and test equipment as necessary. -Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify potential security threats. -Assist in the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity measures for Grid Automation OT products and solutions. -Collaborate with the Grid Automation team to develop and deploy security protocols. -Troubleshoot network-related issues and provide solutions to enhance network stability. -Configure/manage network devices to ensure optimal performance and security. -Provide regional customer service and support remote and onsite when required to perform equipment assessment, application triage and software and hardware field upgrades. -Create, prepare, build, test and modify equipment used for application diagnostics and demonstration. Preparing equipment, devices and other equipment working from drawings and specifications. -Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies. -Participate in industry events, trade shows, technical conferences and standardization. -Debug, resolve and reproduce the most important issues for our customers. -Participate in cybersecurity incident response and recovery efforts.

What You Bring
-Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills. -Proficient with Linux. -Understanding and expertise on 3GPP specs for 3G/4G/5G technologies. -Knowledge of cellular telecommunication systems (LTE, 5G). -Experience in UE (User Equipment) testing and able to operate real time embedded devices. -Good understanding of the host stack protocols such as IPv4/IPv6/TCP/UDP. -Network and architecture design to support secure and efficient communication. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed. -Self-starter and able to perform duties with minimal guidance. -Requires problem solving and diagnostic experience for device/solution application issues recommending corrective action. -Experience with customer support, testing in network protocols/telecommunication. -Industry experience in utility and Oil&Gas OT communications infrastructure. -BSc or MSc degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or similar area. -Knowledge of relevant WiFi standards and broadband applications. -Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States. -Requires knowledge and experience of utility communications infrastructure, Information Technology and Operation Technology automation and control systems, maintenance, and operation practices. -Ability to use computer and related office and product application software is necessary.
