The Role

Tasks

-Preparing monthly driver overtime and hours in coordination with supervisors for the Transport Operations Manager -Monitoring fuel and maintenance costs, highlighting and reporting anomalies -Reviewing and challenging costs from fleet suppliers and garages against agreed terms -Working with the Fleet department to manage costs and ensure vehicle availability -Compiling and maintaining vehicle and depot maintenance plans from sites -Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process efficiencies in transport operations -Supporting planning activities to maximise vehicle utilisation and route efficiency -Collating information provided by site and driver supervisors -Carrying out general administrative duties -Collaborating with the Sales and Data Support Analyst to produce end-of-month reports for the Transport Operations Manager

What You Bring

-In-depth knowledge of transport systems, regulations, and operational processes -Yes, I would like to opt-in to future communication from AMP. -Wellbeing tools and resources -Proficient in Microsoft Excel and confident with data handling and reporting -Experience liaising with garages, suppliers, and external stakeholders -Are you eligible to work in the UK?* -Experience producing reports and supporting operational management -Demonstrable experience working in a transport or fleet operations environment -Good understanding of cost control and financial awareness -Familiarity with Sage or similar computerised transport/finance systems -Strong understanding of transport legislation and compliance requirements
