Overview

Restores fire, water, mold, storm-damaged properties via drywall, carpentry, plumbing, flooring.

Tasks

-Operate company vehicles, as necessary. -Install and repair flooring materials in affected areas. -Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes. -Execute basic plumbing tasks, such as fixing leaks or replacing fixtures, as needed. -Assist mitigation technicians with water extraction, fire damage cleanup, and mold remediation efforts. -Perform basic drywall repairs, including patching, taping, and applying standard finishes. -Restore properties to pre-loss condition following fire, water, mold, or storm damage (turnkey restoration). -Conduct minor carpentry and cabinetry repairs to restore damaged structures.

What You Bring

-Proven experience in drywall repair, carpentry, plumbing, and flooring installation. -Strong knowledge of building materials used in residential and commercial properties. -Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. -2+ years’ experience in construction/ handyman services, required. -Comfortable working with structures impacted by fire, water, mold, or storm damage. -Valid driver’s license in good standing, required. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. -Ability to lift heavy materials on a regular basis up to 50lbs. -Willingness to work in varying conditions, including exposure to water, smoke, or mold (with proper protective equipment). -Familiarity with mitigation processes for water, fire, and mold damage, preferred. -Certifications such as OSHA, IICRC, etc., preferred.
