Tasks

-Partner with engineering to support production and the release of projects and maintenance work, ensuring prompt resolution for technical and business issues -Serve as a problem-solver and embrace change -Effectively partner with vendors, contractors, and consultants where appropriate to commission, prioritize, and manage delivery efforts. -Develop a comprehensive understanding of the systems and operational processes across Invitation Homes. -Identify and track impact on outcomes with stakeholders, finance, and the product team. -Cultivate a healthy and collaborative technology culture that aligns with company values. -Collaborate with the Enterprise Data product and engineering team to develop and maintain 12-month product roadmaps that align with the Enterprise Data strategy, annual strategic priorities, and the enterprise’s 3-year plan. -Partner with ePMO, engineering, and Technology leadership to drive delivery, significantly impact the organization, manage scope, mitigate risks and issues, and negotiate trades-offs. -Collaborate with stakeholders and the enterprise data product team to develop and implement success metrics for each new initiative, continuously monitor product performance throughout its lifecycle, and be prepared to decommission those that no longer provide sufficient value. -Work closely with legal, risk, and security teams to ensure all work aligns with enterprise standards. -Staff, lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10 Product resources across 5+ delivery pods, overseeing all Program, Project, and Maintenance work for the Enterprise Data organization. -Lead and/or support training, change management, roll-out, etc., activities to ensure that projects are successfully delivered. -Manage the generation, maintenance, and distribution of system and project documentation. -Act as a product and technology evangelist, building excitement among key stakeholders. -Stay informed about the competitive and vendor landscape, identifying opportunities and strategies to drive business results. -Establish and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and senior leadership to ensure clear and direct communication regarding current and future product initiatives. -Participate in solutioning; articulate your ideas through wireframes/sketches, and research best-in-class solutions

What You Bring

-4+ years of experience with modern data stack and data lake features, including security, orchestration, observability, Access, data catalog, data lineage, data quality, transformation, and curation, etc. -10+ years of experience in Data product management. -Prefer experience in multifamily, single-family, finance, travel, hospitality, and/or retail. -Great product leadership skills and have strong abilities to craft a credible vision and a differentiating strategy -Certified Scrum Product Owner preferred -Ability to negotiate without being adversarial -Agile/Scrum expertise with a product mindset and have used Jira, Confluence, etc. -6+ years leading Data product managers. -Experience being the product owner of one or more data-driven products -High energy leader who is a resourceful, dependable, disciplined operator and can execute with a can-do attitude -Excellent teamwork skills; strong ability to motivate engineering teams and foster creativity -Ability to effectively communicate and partner with executives and senior-level leaders -In the office at least 3 days a week -Empathy for the customer and associate experiences as an equal footing input to prioritization -Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Prior experience delivering industry-leading products and innovations. -Excellent communicator, storyteller, and presenter -Ability to lead projects in complex and matrixed organizations
