Tasks

You will lead electrical site teams and manage subcontractors — particularly those delivering civils and enabling works — ensuring all interfaces between disciplines are well coordinated. You’ll be responsible for driving productivity, managing resources, and maintaining effective relationships with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders. Your leadership will help ensure projects are delivered safely, to specification, and aligned with operational and commercial targets. Track progress and productivity across direct and subcontracted workforces Attend client and coordination meetings, providing clear updates and technical input Ensure all assets and subcontractor equipment are compliant and safely operated Verify delivery documentation, process returns, and segregate non-conforming materials As an Electrical Site Supervisor, you will ensure the successful delivery of on-site installation and engineering activities across a range of projects. The goal is clear: deliver high-quality work, on time and within budget, while maintaining exceptional safety and compliance standards. Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks, ensuring full compliance with PPE and site discipline Promote a culture of quality, accountability and zero-harm safety Support cost control, variation identification and adherence to commercial procedures Conduct daily site briefings, reviews and ensure prompt resolution of issues or delays Your expertise will help deliver essential engineering and infrastructure projects. You’ll have the autonomy to lead site operations confidently — coordinating electrical and civil disciplines — backed by a company that champions innovation, safety and your professional growth. Issue work instructions, drawings and specifications to site teams and subcontractors Requisition, control and optimise materials and plant on site Plan labour and subcontractor requirements in line with project programmes Review and approve method statements and risk assessments from all subcontractors Coordinate and manage subcontractor activities, including civil and structural works Ensure subcontractor performance meets safety, quality and programme expectations Plan and coordinate plant and equipment in accordance with project staging and risk assessments Maintain accurate site diaries, documentation, permits and progress reports

What You Bring

Effective communicator and confident in managing stakeholder relationships SPEN COMP authorisation preferable Flexible, adaptable and proactive in a dynamic site environment SSSTS or SMSTS essential Strong electrical installation and construction site experience Proven experience supervising both direct labour and subcontractors (including civils) Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work Ability to identify, manage and mitigate on-site risks through proactive leadership Commercial awareness with the ability to support project budgets and productivity goals
