Tasks

-Mentor associate CAD Technicians -Follow client, JSE, and Department of Transportation (DOT) and ASHTO codes and standards -Read construction and engineering documents to assist with creation of shop drawings -Draft plans and detailed drawings for road construction and miscellaneous projects -Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload

What You Bring

-Produce drawings using computer-assisted drafting systems: AutoCAD or MicroStation (Preferred) -Understanding of Microsoft Office applications i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams -Understanding and application of civil engineering concepts and practices -Work independently and coordinate effectively with multi-disciplined project teams -Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation/Bentley, and related drafting software -Associate’s degree in Design Technology, Applied Science, or alternate applicable degree -Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation, InRoads, GuideSign, GeoPak design and related drafting software -Over six (6) years’ experience in related field -Experience with traffic and signage detail (preferred but not required) -Effective time management skills to meet deadlines
