Overview

Leads strategy and PMO, delivering business plans & capital projects for Scottish Water.

Tasks

-Provide insights and share learnings across projects (and between ESD and Client) and with the SLT to improve performance -Streamline governance processes to shorten time to milestones -Development and execution of the SR21 ‘transition’ plan: This activity will setup and drive EOL success for the SR21 capital framework. This includes monitoring and optimising resourcing (projects and overheads) which will enable us to hit our EOL goals. -Direct line management for key support roles -Support project teams to manage performance against KPI’s -Strong interface with client senior leaders to ensure that our plans are linked in with SW’s -Develop and deliver board reports

What You Bring

-Holding SLT to account for actions and initiatives: -Degree level or equivalent (ideally STEM or Business related) -Business understanding is key. Business analysis experience is preferred. -Drivers’ licence – travel within Scotland required -Ability to challenge and push operations managers to maintain & better programme and cost performance -Strong decision making and action delivery abilities -Ability to lead and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams -Memberships (or equivalent) required -High level of exposure to Strategic board and client: -Understanding / experience of construction industry
