Tasks

-Stay current on relevant employment laws, regulations, and best practices related to leave administration and assist in updating policies as necessary -Review, process, and track leave requests in compliance with company policies and applicable federal and state laws, including FMLA, ADA, and workers’ compensation -Maintain and update leave records using company leave administration software, ensuring accurate tracking of leave balances, usage, and accruals -Assist with leave-related correspondence, including eligibility notifications, approval/denial letters, and return-to-work documents -Collaborate with the Leave Administration Manager to provide reports on leave trends and assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement -Communicate with employees, managers, and HR team members to ensure timely resolution of leave-related inquiries and issues -Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding inquiries related to leave policies, eligibility, and procedures -Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policies, maintaining accurate and up-to-date leave files and records -Support the Leave Administration Manager in conducting training sessions for managers and employees on leave policies and procedures

What You Bring

-Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with Members at all levels of the organization. -Minimum of one (1) year of experience in leave administration or related HR functions -Associate’s degree in human resources, business administration, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience -Proficient in project management skills, systems development life cycle, and implementing packaged solutions -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using leave administration software -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Proficiency in leave administration software and Microsoft Office Suite -Strong skills in project leadership, communications, partnering, and driving results -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. -Ability to simultaneously manage several projects -Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high-quality service levels -Proven knowledge of federal and state employment laws -Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. -Familiarity with federal and state leave laws, including FMLA, ADA, and workers’ compensation
