Tasks

DMA Leakage Inspectors are responsible for proactively investigating 'Distribution Monitored Areas' using acoustic detection equipment to identify, pinpoint and promote leaks on our distribution network to our service partners for repair. If you have a passion for solving problems, working outdoors (and working at night), understanding how the clean water network operates, dealing with customers and utilising the latest detection technologies, then this role may be for you. As a Leakage Inspector, you will carry out leak detection and investigation activities on the Water Network to locate and promote leakage to be repaired by our service partners. You will demonstrate the ability to work hard as part of a wider team, solve problems and be thorough to deliver sustainable leakage reduction for Yorkshire Water. This will enable Yorkshire Water to hit challenging Leakage reduction targets.
