Tasks

-Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, studies, permits and designs for assigned projects. -Participates in design-build coordination meetings with contractors to review constructability and address technical questions. -Operates engineering software to solve specific problems, and inputs the data required by the program. -Provide and supports the design and layout of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and low-voltage systems. -Reviews shop drawings and submittals for compliance with design intent and specifications. -Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents. -Conducts site visits to identify discrepancies between design documents and field conditions; assists in resolving construction-phase issues. -Works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment to meet project milestones and deadlines. -Assists in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.

What You Bring

-2-4 years of experience in an Electrical Consulting role or similar position. -B.S. in an Electrical Engineering degree from ABET accredited school. -Able to generate Electrical one-line diagrams for complex electrical infrastructures. -Demonstrates willingness to learn new technologies, design methods, and construction techniques. -Able to manage the Electrical conversation during client facing meetings. -Familiarizes themselves with applicable codes, standards, and regulations. -Familiarize themselves with state-of-the-art design and various state and local regulations.
