Tasks

-Attends production type Henderson training sessions. -Venue Sector: Designing environments for large arenas, stadiums, airports, and multi-space venues to enhance performance, amenities, and comfort. Practices within this sector include Aviation, Convention Center, Entertainment, Fitness, and Sports. -Identifies and seeks to fill gaps in engineering knowledge on a continuous basis. -Asks questions when performing unfamiliar tasks. -Assists in the selection of basic equipment. -Organizes and files project materials and references. -Contributes to the preparation or modification of reports, plans, and designs for projects. -Provides general support as needed. -Grocery & Distribution Sector: Designing grocery stores, food markets, and convenience stores with a focus on customer experience. Practices within this sector include Cold Storage, Convenience Store, Distribution Center, and Grocery Store. -Research and apply Henderson’s design guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures. -Coordinates with other disciplines -Participates in Henderson intern meetings, trainings and activities. -Performs basic calculations and designs engineering systems under the direct supervision of experienced engineers or designers. -Prepares system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.

What You Bring

-Experience with industry codes and standards preferred -Previous coursework in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks or other Computer-Aided Drafting preferred -Maintains and/or increases knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu -Practical experience in building systems engineering preferred -Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in architectural, electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited university -High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required -Relevant internship experience preferred
