Overview

Estimate costs, manage bids and contracts for construction projects in Exeter.

Tasks

-Monitor and control the day-to-day finance of all estimated contracts, up to and -Liaise with departmental staff, client departments, contractors, suppliers and -Order and ensure that materials, equipment and plant detailed in specifications -Liaise with specialists and consultants as appropriate to obtain assistance and -Provide estimated costs of proposed projects and survey/cost completed works -Prepare detailed forward plans of work commitments and appropriate labour -Liaise with Sub-Contractors as required to gain competitive costings

What You Bring

-Will have at least 5 years' experience working on commercial tenders -Possess excellent communication skills -Although not essential, experience with NEC & JCT contracts -Be able to work well within a team environment -Knowledge on the use of Microsoft project (or similar) is desirable.
