Tasks

-Be trusted by all stakeholders to provide clear and unambiguous commercial information -Identifying, reporting and proactively managing financial and commercial risk -Be proactive in managing allocated programme and promptly escalates issues as necessary -Identifying and delivering commercial process efficiencies -Providing transparent, accurate and timely commercial reporting -Promote a commercial team culture that works and respects & understands the commercial requirements of all stakeholders. -Fostering close working relationships with all key stakeholders -Constructively challenge decisions and behaviours that do not provide the best outcome -Controlling costs, maximising value and minimising future liabilities -Commercial management of the allocated programme area -Be accountable and take personal responsibility for resolving problems

What You Bring

-Relevant degree in construction or commercial management -Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders -Relevant professional qualification e.g. RICS, CIOB, ICE -Thorough understanding of relevant construction and contract law -Ability to manage and mitigate commercial disputes -Adherence to the alliance internal governance to satisfy contractual and legal requirements -Good understanding of NEC3 forms of contract -Willingness to travel across the entire AW Region for meetings -Excellent commercial acumen
