Lead mechanical maintenance and planning for nuclear refueling outage activities.

Tasks

-Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Radiation Protection, and Procurement teams to ensure situational awareness and alignment on outage schedules. -Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve operational issues and implement modifications. -Work with contractors and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of services. -Train and mentor junior technicians and team members on mechanical systems maintenance and operations. -Serve as the primary point of contact for the preparation, planning, execution, and closeout of all related work packages to meet outage milestones. -Provide technical support and guidance to team members as needed. -Develop and implement work packages, procedures, and schedules for mechanical activities. -Lead the development and implementation of scheduling processes, resolve conflicts, and ensure clear communication with all stakeholders. -Support outage planning, execution, and post-outage evaluations related to valves. -Lead and supervise mechanical maintenance activities as per the planned schedule.

What You Bring

-Minimum of 7 years in mechanical maintenance, and leadership roles at a nuclear power plant. -Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. -Skilled in using mechanical tools and specialized equipment for alignment, testing, and repairs. -Familiar with valves, actuators, pumps, compressors and piping systems.
