Tasks

-Coordinate with senior finance staff to enhance opportunities for accounting team professional development -Supervise accounting team members in accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger accounting functions, providing guidance for day-to-day operations -Strengthen and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy -Provide training to accounting team members and across the organization as needed -Assist in the development of accounting policies and procedures -Assist with filings for local, state, and federal taxes -Assist with month end close process by reviewing supporting documentation to ensure all transactions are correctly stated and adhere to GAAP -Prepare and organize audit schedules, financial documentation, and reconciliations for external auditors -Participate in the development and implementation of changes to key processing systems

What You Bring

-Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others -Intermediate to advanced skill level using Excel and proficient in all other Microsoft products -Must be accurate and detail oriented -Requires sufficient English skills to understand and compose correspondence, proofread documents, and effectively communicate with internal staff and clients -Comfortable presenting information to all levels of the company -Prior experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or another project-based ERP system preferred -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills -Strong organizational and time management skills -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions -Driving is an essential job function or a valid driver’s license is required to support legitimate business purposes. -A minimum of ten years of progressive finance, analysis, and leadership experience required, with a minimum of five years of direct supervisory experience -Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals -Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field required
