Senior Demolition Estimator/Project Manager - Remote

Tasks

-Oversee and provide guidance to Foremen/Superintendent to plan, organize and direct activities related to schedule, labor, equipment, materials and disposal on their jobs. -Oversee all change order requests and submit in conjunction with estimating and finance. -Maintain historical cost data and contribute to estimating process improvements. -Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project requirements. -Responsible to ensure project close out package is completed, and job can be billed in full. -Monitor production and project costs to ensure each job is completed on schedule. -Review and sign off on daily manpower and progress reports for jobs. -Take ownership of a project upon award and see through to completion. -Analyze drawings, specifications, and scope documents to develop competitive bids. -Continually update a 3-week look ahead for all projects. -Interact with the customer on a regular basis and be the lead on negotiation for any scope discrepancy or issues on the job site. -Perform quantity takeoffs and utilize estimating software for pricing. -Procure supplies and material to complete a project buy-out. -Establish project objectives, milestones, budgets, and project schedules. -Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects. -Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing and ensure scope coverage.

What You Bring

-Strong knowledge of demolition methods, materials, and market pricing. -Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. -Must be able to sit for prolonged periods with occasional standing and walking. -Proficiency in estimating software e.g., Bluebeam, Excel. -Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural demolition estimating. -Strong understanding of environmental regulations. -Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. -Ability to pick up construction debris and able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally. -Experience with technical & proposal writing.
