Assist warehouse tasks: inventory verification, order picking, forklift operation, cleaning.

Tasks

-Pulls material from shelves for packages for the crews. -Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports. -Operates forklift truck as needed, after passing training. -Confirms availability of items to be sent out by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items. -Repeat pulling, pushing, carrying, bending approximately 50% of time. -Helps keep warehouse clean. -Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of material as needed.

What You Bring

-Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures. -Must be willing to operate a forklift. -Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology. -Able to work as a team and independently. -Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times. -Must have basic mathematical skills. -Able to communicate verbally and in writing. -Able to show up to work on time. -Able to climb ladders/ stairs to reach shelves in the warehouse. -At least two years of work experience in a warehouse preferred. -Able to stay until all tasks are completed. -Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory. -Ability to move around the warehouse. -Lifting approximately 25 % of the time. -High school diploma or equivalent required. -Able to work in the heat and all types of weather in a warehouse environment. -Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
