The Role

Overview

Tasks

-Participate in trade shows, customer events, and demo days to promote ICP Group brands. -Report progress, opportunities, and pipeline activity through our Salesforce CRM. -Serve as the primary point of contact for major national chains, key influencers, and decision-makers. -Develop and execute a strategic national business development plan targeting hardware, lumber, and specialty retail markets. -Drive product placement and add new store locations through retail partnerships. -Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and educational presentations both in-person and virtually. -Analyze sales reports and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and competitive positioning.

What You Bring

This role requires a strong hunter mentality with a proven track record in sales and business development. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new national partnerships to expand sales and product placements across multiple locations. Experience Needed -Strong verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage decision-makers at multiple levels. -Proven sales track record in national or regional account development with new business generation. -Cold-calling and prospecting experience with Independent Dealers, Regional/National Chains, and buying groups. -Willingness to travel nationally (up to 50% overnight). -Demonstrated success overcoming sales objections (price, technical/application knowledge, etc.). -Knowledge of architectural/technical coatings or building materials preferred. -Experience selling into hardware chains, lumber yards, or building materials distribution strongly preferred.
