Tasks

-Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Fortinet security products including firewalls, switches, and access points -Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties -Participate in cross-functional committees as required -Administer Office 365 services including user management, email, SharePoint, and Teams -Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions -Control and monitor e-mail use, Web navigation, and installed software -Provide technical support to computer users experiencing difficulties with hardware, applications, and communications software -Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts -Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations -Advise on the selection and evaluation of automated systems, electronic technology, software/hardware -Ensure security management of systems and data -Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks to coordinate access and optimize performance -Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls -Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), computer workstations, connections to the Internet and peripheral equipment -Day-to-day operation and support of all information technology systems across multiple sites -Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance -Develop and implement maintenance plans for software and automation related equipment -Install, configure, and maintain network cabling infrastructure across all sites -Install, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade network server hardware and software -Communicate electronically and in person with users to determine and document problems experienced -Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, operating system software and software applications -Manage and maintain Microsoft Server environments and virtual machine infrastructure

What You Bring

-College diploma or degree in computer programming, network administration, or related field -Knowledge of property management or hospitality industry systems -Proficiency in Office 365 administration including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure AD -Microsoft server certification -Adaptability and continuous learning -Ability to work Tuesday to Saturday schedule -Minimum 5 years direct experience in IT systems administration -Problem solving and analytical reasoning -Experience in multi-site IT environments -Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with network cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, fiber optic) -Experience with local and wide area networks, ability to implement network configurations, and work with network providers to diagnose and resolve problems -Strong work ethic; able to work productively with minimum supervision or collaboratively in a team -Technical documentation skills -Time management and prioritization -Strong organizational skills -Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills -Attention to detail -Expertise in virtual machine management (VMware or Hyper-V) -Proven experience with Microsoft Server administration (2019/2022/2025) -Strong working knowledge of Fortinet products (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP) -Valid BC Driver's license and own vehicle (required for travel between sites) -Office 365 certifications (MS-900, MS-100, MS-101) -Fortinet NSE certification
