-An effective leader possessing good interpersonal skills? -Experience of applying programme / project methodologies -Able to find ways of solving problems ? -Relevant experience in the successful management of major and complex change programmes. -Knowledge of/experience in the UK rail industry. -Experience in management of major programmes of work in the rail industry? -A relevant professional qualification with chartered status? -Educated to degree level. -Awareness of industry processes from planning activities through to operational delivery? -A strong understanding of Network Rail operations, maintenance and asset management? -Knowledge of the principles of investment processes and procedures.
