The Role

Overview

Coordinates employee onboarding, training, scheduling, and wellness support.

Tasks

-Provide employee coaching, validation, and observation; report performance feedback to the Wellness Director. -Ensure compliance with regulations regarding residents’ rights. -Manage staffing schedules and PTO; monitor for overtime issues in the wellness department. -Support cycle tasks when necessary. -Support Passion Program initiatives. -Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and in-service training for all staff. -Assist with weekly medication audits and MAR audits as needed. -Ensure new employees demonstrate competency in their assigned roles. -Support marketing tours as required; know the process for collecting deposits and guiding prospective residents through the discovery process. -Organize and schedule orientation and training sessions for new employees in Memory Care (MC) and Assisted Living (AL). -Make rounds to ensure the community meets established standards; report to the department Director if corrections are needed. -Serve as on-call support for employee inquiries during the week and share on-call responsibilities on weekends with other management. -Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. -Follow and communicate company policies and procedures. -Schedule candidate interviews and conduct initial interviews for wellness and other departments when needed. -Collaborate with other directors to celebrate special achievements as part of the Passion Program. -Attend required training sessions as directed by your supervisor. -Assist the Wellness Director with budget oversight related to employee relations and employee recognition events.
