Overview

Operate and maintain water treatment plants, pipelines and related equipment.

Tasks

-Troubleshoot and rectify equipment/process faults and alarms -Assist with plant optimisation and reporting activities -Operate mobile water analysis equipment (Aquadiag vehicle) statewide -Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and quality policies/procedures -Perform preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on plant assets -Operate and monitor all plant equipment, processes, and systems to meet operational targets -Collect water samples for internal and external testing and analysis

What You Bring

-Knowledge of water treatment engineering practices. -Ability to liaise and form working relationships with key clients and stakeholders -Experience working effectively and autonomously with minimal supervision -The position requires participation in the on call roster -Experience in the maintenance of pumps, pipelines, instruments and other mechanical equipment.
