Senior Project Manager – Construction Management

Tasks

-Proactively manages project requests for information and action items -Manage and lead a collaborative project team to ensure each project’s needs are being met -Collaborate with Technical Manager(s) regarding mentoring, training, and skillsets -Responsible for the overall management and execution of the projects’ scopes, schedules, and costs -Coordinate communication and provide status updates to stakeholders as required -Work with project staff and partners to lead meetings between the project team and clients -Develop, update, and manage the project execution plans -Maintains customer focus to meet or exceed expectations and represents Ulteig professionally and courteously -Ensure availability or seek out adequate resources to support the projects -Work collaboratively with the Project Controls team to ensure project schedules and costs are managed and tracked to plan -Assess project risk and proactively develop mitigation plans -Build and maintain positive relationships with clients -Develop and maintain client relationships and participate in proposal development -Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work -Responsible for coordinating projects through all internal and external processes -Provide strategic project management leadership for multiple projects of varying size and complexity

What You Bring

-Demonstrated experience with successful project delivery -Superior interpersonal and organizational skills -Achieves results by problem-solving, setting priorities, and organizing -Must be able to prepare clear and concise status updates and reports as required -PMP Certification preferred -Excellent communication, leadership, planning, and mentoring skills -Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S. -12+ years of experience with a PE license, DOT, and construction management experience, or 20+ years of experience without a PE license, DOT, or construction management experience preferred -Proficient in analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions, project the consequences of proposed actions, and implementing recommendations to support project scope, schedule, and cost objectives -Demonstrates excellent leadership, verbal/written communication, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills -Must be willing to travel -Demonstrate the ability to independently organize work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities -Pass pre-employment substance abuse screening and background check -Consistently produces results that meet goals, has high work standards, and understands the business environment and processes -Professional Engineering licensure required -Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field required
