Tasks

-Collaborates with Procurement SMEs to define metadata for subject data components. -Actively participates in the organization’s data governance processes, tools and programs. -Provides support for questions, issues, and problems for an assigned dataset. -Supports the creation, maintenance, and governance of procurement master data, including vendor, material, contract, and pricing data. -Analyzes data that does not align with requirements and recommend corrective actions. -Executes policies and standards established by the data governance program. -Measures and monitors data management maturity for an assigned dataset. -Maintains and demonstrates strong understanding of data standards and policies. -Identifies data accuracy issues and associated business process weaknesses.

What You Bring

-Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. -2 years of experience in data management, data governance, data quality, reference (master) data management, and/or designing and implementing functional systems and data in a structured process. -Understanding of data governance landscape, processes, and design principles. -Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or MIS. -Prior experience working with ERP systems (i.e., SAP) and procurement platforms (i.e., Ariba). -Knowledge of data management best practices, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards (e.g., SOX). -Strong verbal and written communication skills. -Effective customer service skills. -Strong analytical skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
