The Role

Overview

Assemble and finish door units on the Specials line following SOPs.

Tasks

-Verify materials being used is correct by reading the bill of materials -Follow all operational and safety SOP’s as written -Verifies that components are being placed in the correct position per SOP -Palletize, wrap, and label units as needed -Repeats tasks until entire door stack is complete -Assembles fabricated parts to relatively large or heavy subassemblies and complete units -Ensure materials meet quality expectations -Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications -Maintain a safe and clean work environment -Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job -Cleans up work area when shift ends

What You Bring

-High School Diploma or equivalent preferred -Efficient with multiple machines and equipment such as Nail Gun, Screw Gun, Router, Tape Measure, Square -Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment -Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity, and cold -Strong analytical skills & Knowledge of all door components -Solid verbal and written communication skills -Must be able to read a tape measure and have basic math skills -Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment -1-2 Years in the field preferred -Read and understand bill of materials -Required to stand for long periods of time -Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field -Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
