The Role

Overview

Maintain hospital facilities, handling preventive & reactive HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.

Tasks

-Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and follows all company policies. -Source, plan and organized required tools and materials for day-to-day task and projects -Use building prints, schematics and other available documents while solving system failures and work requests. -Respond to and resolve work you're doing in general facility services, equipment repair, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry. -Receive, update and completed assigned preventative and demand maintenance works orders within the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) QFM.

What You Bring

-Requires in-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to take care of service and repairs. -Computers skills. Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) -Must be able to work varying shifts (including night shifts), weekends and holidays on a rotational shift schedule. -Experience working in a health care setting -Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and machines. -Strong interpersonal and time leadership skills -Working and operating knowledge of building systems including troubleshooting, repair and replacement etc. -Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently on tasks and as part of a team. -Experience with wheeled equipment repair and maintenance -Completion of a two-year technical degree or equivalent plus 5 years’ experience in a Facility Maintenance environment. -Strong customer service skills -Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which includes ability to: climb ladders, operate machinery, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., etc.
