  • Provide project managers the necessary tools, training and support to execute projects effectively.
  • Develop and maintain standardized project management methodologies, tools, templates and reporting structures in line with the Corporate Project Management Framework (CPMF).
  • Oversee the development of a dynamic resource plan that aligns project staffing with divisional needs, optimizing the use of internal and external resources and managing workforce planning across the Project Management Office.
  • Provide direct leadership to team members by supporting recruitment, performance development and management, workplan monitoring, mentorship, coaching, recognition and general supervisory activities.
  • Monitor performance and track project benefits for ongoing and completed initiatives, reporting on key performance indicators that reflect the success of strategic projects.
  • Ensure all Project Team members and Subject Matter Experts supporting critical projects are effectively engaged, supported and aligned with project objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops to engage employees and promote shared ownership and collaboration.
  • Coordinate internal and external partners to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, risks and alignment with strategy and report regularly to the Senior Management Team.
  • Prioritize projects and manage deadlines, impact, budget and urgency.

  • Strong relationship-building and engagement skills with internal and external partners.
  • Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, along with well-developed problem solving, critical thinking and change management skills.
  • A degree in Project Management Public Administration, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field and at least 6 years of progressive experience overseeing and supporting projects to successful completion and leading and driving process improvements in a corporate setting.
  • A designation in project management such as Project Management Professional (PMP) would be considered an asset.
