Tasks

-Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the main liaison for internal business partners and external customers on all project/proposal matters. -Cross-Functional Engagement: Collaborate with Marketing, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Planning, and Procurement to define technical requirements and resources for tendering projects. -Key Role in Business Success: Lead the Tendering/Proposal Development process, a critical driver for the growth and success of our Steam business. -Project Coordination: Direct and oversee all activities to ensure on-time delivery of Steam tendering projects, including major sub-components, replacement components, or entire operating turbines and valve sets. -Support Financial Workflow: Assist the Project Manager in facilitating Emergent Work Requests (EWRs) tenders for seamless financial processes. -Quotation and Negotiation: Manage requests for quotations and support SEI GS Service teams in negotiating additional scope during order entry and the product warranty phase. -Facilitate Decision-Making: Ensure proper collaborative technical decision-making processes are followed for issues that extend beyond individual team responsibilities.

-Proven ability to deliver high-quality results on time with minimal supervision and a strong commitment to excellence. -Solid understanding of ERP systems, such as SAP, and their operational dependencies. -Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers. -Willingness to travel up to 5%. -Expert-level proficiency in written, verbal, mathematical, and interpersonal communication skills. -5–8 years of experience in Project Management, Planning, Steam Product/Manufacturing Engineering (valve knowledge preferred), power equipment production, and time management. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level -Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical field -Experience in project management or team leadership with a proven track record of delivering improvement projects in a manufacturing environment. -Demonstrates high-level critical thinking to successfully address high-impact, cross-functional, and complex challenges.
