Technical Sales Manager

Tasks

Responsible for developing product sales across a defined geographical area and achieving set area sales budgets, covering the East of England; Sheffield, Doncaster, Hull, Nottingham and Lincolnshire. -Generate technical sales enquiries and convert them into orders. -Maintain technical competence across the full Civils product range. -Maintain a managed project log and provide weekly sales forecasts. -Report market conditions and competitor activity. -Manage key projects from start to completion with regular updates. -Collaborate with Specification, Developer, Key Account teams, and the wider Polypipe Group. -Grow the supply chain by working closely with key merchant groups. -Maintain close working relationships with internal departments including sales, technical, and commercial teams. -Promote the company professionally and positively at all times. -Develop a strategic network of key contractors and secure project business for the Civils product portfolio.

What You Bring

-Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. -Commercial and technical sales experience. -Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful pitches. -Adaptable and self-motivated. -Strong IT skills including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint. -Must have a valid UK Driving Licence. -Proven record in developing new and existing business.
