Tasks

-Managing selected projects or components of projects, taking responsibility for quality assurance and client feedback and ensuring effective communication of any changes/modifications -Interfaces engineering to PLC/SCADA system -Assisting in developing team members to their full potential -Reviewing and ensuring compliance in the components of the project for which are responsible, including drawings, reports, specifications and studies -Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients on projects -Providing technical advice to project team members -Working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design -Liaising with the Project Director or Manager and the client to keep informed of all developments associated with the project -Lighting calculations and design -Reviewing and ensuring compliance in the components of the project for which responsible, including drawings, reports, specifications and studies -Preparation and checking of technical specifications, design basis reports, etc. -Relay coordination and Discrimination studies

What You Bring

-Experience within a consultancy environment specifically extended office of lead business. -Being familiar with, and compliant with, relevant H & S regulations and promoting a culture of awareness within the team -B.E / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University. -Short circuit studies -Proven design experience; including concept, preliminary, detailed, construction phases -10 to 15 Years’ experience in design of Electrical systems associated with Water industry. -Familiar with American standards, NFPA, IEEE and IEC standards related to Water Industry. -Knowledge of commercial aspects of projects -Arc Flash studies -Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language, with good report writing, analytical and computer skills. -Conversant with ETAP, SKM Tool, DIALUX software’s. Should be able to carry out following studies independently Cable sizing calculations Voltage drop calculations Short circuit studies Arc Flash studies Relay coordination and Discrimination studies Earthing and bonding Lighting design. -Ability to carry out design reviews independently. -Ability to think in an innovative manner -Cable sizing and short circuit calculations -Has good appreciation of Health, safety and environmental aspects. -Has thorough technical knowledge of Lighting calculations and design Low voltage power distribution Earthing and bonding systems Cable systems and containment Lightning Protection system design Cable sizing and short circuit calculations Uninterrupted power supplies Interfaces engineering to PLC/SCADA system Conversant with ETAP, SKM Tool, DIALUX software’s. Should be able to carry out following studies independently Cable sizing calculations Voltage drop calculations Short circuit studies Arc Flash studies Relay coordination and Discrimination studies Earthing and bonding Lighting design.
