Inventory Data Specialist

Overview

Manage inventory data, sales orders, and customer service for fence materials.

Tasks

-Prepare and send quotes using established pricing guidelines. -Coordinate with project management to align material orders. -Prepare and send invoices for material sales. -Follow up with customers about deliveries or missing items. -Serve as the main point of contact for material sales inquiries. -Upsell related products like hardware kits, gates, stains, windscreens, and accessories. -Assist walk-in customers at the yard or showroom. -Respond quickly to inbound calls, emails, and HubSpot leads about materials. -Confirm stock availability and provide accurate lead times. -Track order fulfillment and confirm accuracy of deliveries and pickups. -Review job details and create complete material lists for fence installations. -Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers purchasing materials. -Oversee data accuracy for all incoming and outgoing materials. -Assist other locations with inventory transfers and tracking. -Collaborate with yard managers and operations teams for real-time inventory visibility. -Enter material lists into the system as accurate sales orders. -Process purchase orders from contractors, project managers, or direct customers. -Communicate inventory levels with key team members. -Answer product-related questions (specs, ASTM requirements, warranties, comparisons).
