Overview

Perform maintenance and repairs for apartments, common areas, and grounds.

Tasks

-Regularly inspect common areas to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness. -Complete vacant units to make ready status per established procedures. -Regularly communicate with supervisor as to status of service requests, make ready units, etc. -Inspect all work performed by outside contractors. -Perform all interior and exterior repairs to maintain apartments, common areas, buildings and grounds according to established procedures. -Participate in resident functions as requested by Management. -Ensure that all Federal, State and County Health and Safety Codes, Laws and Standards are followed. -Inspect and/or perform exterior maintenance ensuring high level curb appeal.

What You Bring

-Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record required. -High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. -HVAC certification preferred. -Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general building trades is required. -Must have basic understanding of the English language and be able to communicate effectively. -Ability to follow directives and work with minimum supervision. -Ability to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors and the general public. -Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent field required.
