What You Bring

-Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university -Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to com pany and client policies. -Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US without requiring current or future sponsorship. -Must be a U.S. Citizen -Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail -Experience with ANSYS and SolidWorks preferred or comparable software platforms -Minimum 7 years of Mechanical Engineering experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience designing Gloveboxes for handling special materials -EIT or PE license in one or more states preferred -Strong coordination skills; demonstrated ability to work across disciplines, divisions, and teams -Remote will be considered for Principal Engineers -Problem solving and general scientific evaluation skills -Proficient in Word and Excel -Ability to work effectively in teams -Experience in Mechanical codes, standards, and criteria, Glovebox codes, and development of fabrication drawing for electromechanical equipment and mechanical systems -Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at client sites -Excellent verbal communication skills; Comfortable and effective communicator with team, clients, management, etc., choosing the right mode of communication for the situation and relaying the right message -Ability to travel up to 15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks
