Tasks

-Implement and maintain internal controls and compliance procedures to meet both JLL and client standards -Analyze A/P metrics and trends to identify process improvements, timely approvals and receipt of invoice as well as cost-saving opportunities across the account -Responsible for monthly union invoices, ensuring all calculations are in line with each CBA and payments are made timely -Direct and mentor junior finance team members while coordinating with cross-functional teams on account-specific initiatives -Collaborate closely with finance teams to ensure alignment on payment priorities, budget adherence, and reporting requirements -Oversee end-to-end accounts payable processes for client account, including invoice processing, approval workflows, payment execution and vendor statement reconciliation -Manage month-end and quarter-end closing activities, ensuring accurate accruals and comprehensive financial reporting

What You Bring

-Project management experience and familiarity with process improvement methodologies -Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 7+ years of progressive finance experience -CPA certification or equivalent professional accounting credential -Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling -Knowledge of real estate industry practices and terminology -Experience with automated A/P systems and electronic payment platforms -Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams -Previous experience working with banking or financial services clients -Extensive experience in accounts payable management, preferably in real estate or financial services environment -Demonstrated experience managing large-scale client accounts with complex financial requirements -Strong analytical skills with proven ability to identify trends and drive process improvements -Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance requirements
