Tasks

-Assisting in the development of RFPs and evaluation of results -Planning, coordinating, and performing complex technical assignments related to software applications in support of the Day Ahead Market Admin, FTR/ARR Market Admin, Forecasting Office, and Markets Monitoring groups -Follow the Change Management and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) policies and procedures during the course of the work -Lead IT Support activities for one or more business areas -Coordinating with consultants and vendors on project deliverables -Analyzing, designing, programming, troubleshooting, recommending solutions and implementing fixes associated with Market System applications

What You Bring

-24 x7 support for Day Ahead and FTR Market applications as needed -Experience with tools like PL/SQL Developer, Oracle SQL Developer, and etc -Master’s degree in computer science or a related field -Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field -Working experience in Oracle, SQL, Postgres, PL/SQL development and Microsoft SQL server -Programming experience in Electric Utility Industry or Power System Markets -Ability to participate in an on-call rotation -5+ years of working experience as a PL/SQL Developer or similar role -Experience with software version control systems (e.g., Git) -Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills -Demonstrated experience dealing with challenging situations and communicating different problems to a wider audience -Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a Team Lead
