Tasks

What You Bring

-Commercial Acumen. -Experience with managing similar category markets to those listed above. -Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. -Strong Negotiation skills. -Travel will be required. -Problem Solving. -High competency in value engineering and performance improvement. -Strong analytical skills and high competency in supplier selection and evaluation. -Strong negotiation, analytical, and supply chain management skills. -7-10 years of experience in category management, in a complex or matrixed organization. -Proficiency in leading a team of Category Buyers. -Strategic Thinking. -Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, other) and Microsoft Office Suite. -Experience in equivalent industries to the nuclear sector that operate to a high level of quality assurance standards i.e. defense, aerospace, oil & gas etc. -Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA or professional certification such as SCMP is an asset).
