Tasks

-Reporting (15%): Updating and developing all monthly financial reports for ISD leadership. -Financial Controls Management (15%): Providing oversight of the Financial Controls Team. -Funding Requests (20%): Generating Department Service Orders, Supplements, and other funding requests while tracking their approval status. -Budget Oversight (50%): Providing oversight and support for managing the budgets of all P&PM projects.

What You Bring

-A valid and active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in the State of California is preferred but not required. -Must have at least five (5) years of experience in the last ten (10) years providing Construction Project Management-related services for governmental entities. -Minimum of ten (10) years of work experience in financial management support. -Strong communication and team management skills. -Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, intense environment. -Experience working with financial systems such as Oracle Financials and SAP. -Professional Licensure and Society Memberships -The Cost Manager must possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, or a related field. -Familiarity with cloud-based construction management software. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including advanced Excel skills.
