Tasks
In this role, safety and teamwork are paramount. The Electrical Tradesperson is accountable for operating effectively as part of a crew, ensuring that all tasks are carried out to the highest safety and technical standards. Responsibilities may also extend to the maintenance, construction, and commissioning of high-voltage assets within the transmission network, supporting the reliable delivery of energy to customers and communities. The Electrical Tradesperson plays a key role in the construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of transmission and distribution systems, working under the leadership and guidance of a Team Leader. -Maintain, construct and commission high voltage primary and secondary assets -Operating HV switching of primary plant -Undertraining maintenance, construction and fault-finding of substation switch gear, transformers, substation protection schemes, relays and associated equipment

What You Bring
The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, precision, and technical expertise and will be a clear communicator and a quick problem-solver, capable of working confidently with high-voltage systems. The role requires work across multiple locations within South Australia and, where necessary, interstate.About you -Working at heights qualification -Current SA Electrical worker registration -High risk EWP and Forklift licences -Current First Aid and CPR qualification -Current construction industry white card -Knowledge and experience in maintaining high voltage primary and secondary assets of transmission and distribution systems. -High Voltage Switching Operator Accreditation (Cat 20 & Cat 2). -Current South Australian Drivers Licence; -Read and interpret drawings -Current SA Electrical Trade Certificate.
