Tasks

-Ensure you and your family receive the services needed to support your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and align procurement activities with project timelines. -Document control and document management of all procurement related activities for tracking and communication purposes -Implement sustainable procurement practices, considering environmental and social impacts in supplier selection and sourcing decisions. -Develop and execute procurement strategies to secure high-quality materials, equipment, and services for EPC projects. -Ensure that procurement activity is ethical and adheres to the Project Procurement Policy. -Create purchase orders in SAP, ensuring accuracy in material master usage and develop/include project and purchase order specific terms and conditions. -Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure favorable agreements for the company.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. -Strong interpersonal and communication skills. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships. -Able to handle multiple competing task. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) -Technical understanding of SAP. -Relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (SCMP dedication) is a plus. -Previous experience working on major projects with procurements spend greater than $5M -Strong negotiation skills and a proven ability to secure advantageous deals with suppliers. -Adherence to Aecon preferred supplier sourcing footprint. -Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices and a commitment to environmental responsibility. -Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement, preferably in the energy sector.
